Staying hydrated throughout the long weekend is key -- even if you’re skipping the alcohol this year. Check out our favorite delicious and hydrating mocktails that’ll put you in the summer mood.
ROYGBIV Mocktail
The beautiful (and hydrating) mocktail of your dreams. Pride is just around the corner so let’s use MDW as a way to perfect our rainbow drink skills!
What you need:
- A handful of raspberries
- A handful of strawberries
- A handful of cherries
- A handful of peaches
- A handful of pineapple
- A few lime slices
- A handful of fresh mint
- A handful of blueberries
- A handful of blackberries
- 16 ounces of filtered Soma water
- 8 ounces flavored seltzer like coconut or vanilla
How to make:
Fill each glass with a bit of crushed ice, then add the fruit in rainbow order (because why not). Once the fruit is in the glasses, add a bit more ice and fill each glass with about 4 ounces of filtered Soma water.
Top each off with some flavored seltzer (Coconut La Croix is a favorite of ours) and serve. Add some extra mint for style.
Mocktail Marga-jito
Craving a margarita? Craving a mojito? Perfect, we’ve got you covered. One of our favorite summer drinks is a refreshing and hydrating mix between a mojito and margarita minus the alcohol.
What you need:
- 1 Lime
- 1 lemon
- A handful of fresh mint
- 2 cups of filtered Soma water
- 3 tsp of honey
How to make:
Fill each glass with a bit of crushed ice, then drizzle your honey over the ice. Cut your lemon and limes in half and juice both into each glass (if this is too tart for you, you can skip!)
Once your lemon and lime are all squeezed out, add in your fresh mint and the remaining lemon and lime slices. Fill the rest of the glass or about 2 cups of fresh, filtered Soma water to your creation.
Use a spoon to stir the mocktail until juice, water, and honey are combined. Voila!
