You know the saying. If you look good, you feel good. We think it’s the reverse. If you feel good, you will look good. It starts from the inside, out.
Not getting enough water can lead to headaches and the inability to focus. It can make you tired or cranky, or both. When you work out and sweat without being properly hydrated you actually lower your blood volume temporarily. And if your skin doesn’t get enough water, it can lose elasticity. Ipso facto, wrinkles.
Still, staying hydrated can be a challenge. Busy weekdays at work when you look up and somehow the clock says hours have passed without you noticing (ever forget to eat lunch?). Or weekends when you’re running from one activity to the next without sitting down to breathe, let alone have a glass of water. But we’re not taking any days off this summer with our hydration, instead, we’re planning ahead.
Try the schedule below to keep you on top of your hydration goals. To keep your body alert and energized – and your skin glowing. And don’t forget that coffee and tea are nearly entirely water, so you can count them toward your daily intake!
